Legal & Technical Formalities
To book a Jeep Safari in Jim Corbett National Park, visitors must complete certain mandatory procedures. Please keep the details below ready before starting the booking process.
Information Required for Advance Booking
We follow a secure advance-booking system. To confirm your Jeep Safari, please provide:
- Full name, age, and gender of each visitor (exactly as mentioned on their ID card)
- Preferred travel date and safari slot (Morning / Afternoon)
- Any valid government ID number (Voter ID, Aadhaar, Driving Licence, etc.)
- Safari entry fee, to be paid in advance
- E-permits are non-refundable once issued
- Carry the same ID used during online booking
- Indian nationals should book at least 30 days in advance
- Foreign nationals may book up to 90 days in advance
- Passport details are mandatory for foreign tourists
- Safari permits are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability
Terms & Conditions
- Day visits in every zone are strictly controlled as per the park's scientifically calculated carrying capacity. Only limited vehicles are allowed in each morning and evening slot.
- Permits for Sonanadi Ecotourism Zone are issued at the Visitor Reception Center in Kotdwar.
- Permits for all other zones can be booked online through our website.
- Visitors must check gate timings in advance and reach the entry gate early to avoid inconvenience.
- Private vehicles are not allowed inside the park for tourism. Only approved vehicles registered with Corbett Tiger Reserve may be used.
- Day visits to Dhikala Zone are available only through the special Canter safari conducted via Ramnagar.
- Elephant rides are available at Bijrani and Dhikala on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Canteens are available at Dhikala, Bijrani, and Gairal. Other zones have basic kitchen facilities.
Entry Formalities
The forest department follows strict procedures as Corbett is a protected wildlife zone. Officials carefully verify every booking detail before allowing entry. Completing the entire process is mandatory for the safety of visitors and for maintaining order inside the reserve.
Visitors must also complete the required formalities while entering the safari zone, parking area, hotels, or forest rest houses. The authorities reserve the right to enforce all rules to ensure smooth and safe operations inside the park.
